About
Built for the van, not the boardroom.
Snapquo started from one stubborn observation: tradespeople don't lose jobs on price. They lose them on the wait.
Why we exist
A homeowner emails three contractors on a Monday. By the time the careful, handwritten quote arrives on Thursday, someone faster has already taken the deposit. The work goes to whoever replies first, and most quotes simply arrive too late.
The tools meant to fix this are part of the problem. Jobber, Housecall Pro and Buildertrend are fine software, but they are team suites: scheduling, dispatch and CRM a one-person business will never open, at a price to match. You pay for ten features to use one, and abandon it the moment onboarding feels like homework.
The un-suite
So we built the opposite. Not a platform, but a single sharp tool: the fastest way to send a professional, deposit-collecting quote from your phone, and the only one that chases it until it's answered. No bloat. One job, done so well it feels unfair.
Every quote you send carries a quiet Made with Snapquo. link to the homeowner, and to the next tradesperson in their network. That's the whole marketing plan: build something tradespeople actually want to show off.
What we believe
Four rules we don't break.
Do one job brilliantly
Get a great quote out fast and collect the deposit. We resist every feature that doesn't serve that.
Never touch your money
A flat subscription, and 0% of your deposits. Per-transaction fees are how the others nickel-and-dime you.
Fast beats fancy
The job goes to whoever replies first. Everything we build is in service of speed at the doorstep.
Works wherever you do
Quote from your phone on the job, run the books from a laptop at home. Native apps on iPhone and Android, plus the web, on one account.
On the tools
None of that works if the quote still has to wait until you get home. The argument for Snapquo is speed at the doorstep, and a laptop on the kitchen table cannot deliver it.
So the iPhone and Android apps are not a shrunk-down copy of the website. They are where the argument gets tested: one thumb, a cold driveway, a bar of signal, and a customer standing next to you waiting for a number. Anything that cannot survive that is not finished.
One account, not two products
The laptop still wins the desk work, and we have not pretended otherwise. Loading your logo, typing out a price list, working through a month of invoices: all of it is easier at a keyboard, and that is where we suggest you start. So Snapquo is one account across the apps and the web rather than two things to keep in step, and you reach for whichever is nearer.
Both apps are free to install and covered by the same subscription. Get the app.
Where we're headed
Widen the wedge, never the bloat.
We add the next thing only when customers pull it from us, never because a rival's feature list made us anxious.
- Now
Quoting, photos, optional extras, deposits, automatic follow-up and invoicing, on the phone in your pocket and the laptop at home, done so well it feels unfair.
- Next
A jobs board for the work you've won, and review requests once the job is done.
- Later
Good/Better/Best tiers, more trades and a shared template library, added only when customers pull them from us.
