Both apps do the same job. Pick the one that matches the phone you carry.
Both apps sign in with a Snapquo account. If you have not got one yet, set it up on the web first. It takes about a minute, and it is quicker to type your business details and load your logo on a proper keyboard. Start free
Getting started
Set it up on the web. Then carry it in your pocket.
You can start on either one and it is the same account. Most people find it quicker to do the setup at a keyboard and keep the app for the part that happens on site.
- First
Add your logo, your business details and your tax rate once, and build your price list by typing. All of it is a keyboard job, and you only do it the once.
- Then
Install the app and sign in with the same details. Your customers, your saved items, your quotes and your invoices are already there.
- After that
Price the job at the door on the phone, then sit down at the laptop that evening and do the paperwork. Neither one is the main one.
Free to start, no card needed.
Your subscription follows the account, not the device. Subscribe on the web and the apps unlock. Subscribe in the app and the web unlocks. You manage the billing wherever you bought it.
On site
The phone does the door. The laptop does the desk.
Nothing has to move between them. The same quotes, customers, price list and invoices are in both, and whichever one you pick up is already up to date.
-
Price it at the door
Build the quote from your price list in a couple of taps, while you are still standing in front of the work.
-
A photo on the line
Snap the failed panel or the overgrown bed and pin it to the item it belongs to, so the price argues its own case.
-
Signed and paid on their phone
The customer accepts, signs with a finger and pays the deposit by card, on their own phone, before you leave.
-
The paperwork later, at a keyboard
Sit down that evening on the web app and do the invoicing properly, on the same account.
Questions
The short answers.
Anything we haven't covered? We reply fast. It's the whole point.
Talk to usDo I have to pay for the app as well?
No. One subscription covers the iPhone app, the Android app and the web app, because they are all the same account. Subscribe in any one of them and the other two unlock, so there is nothing to buy twice.
Do I need the app to use Snapquo?
No. The web app does everything, on a laptop or in your phone's browser. The apps exist because pricing a job at a customer's door with one thumb is easier in a real app than in a browser tab.
Should I sign up on the web or in the app?
Either works, and your account is the same either way. Setting up on the web is usually quicker, because you are typing your business details and loading your logo, which is a keyboard job. Then you sign in on the phone and it is all there.
What happens to my quotes and customers when I install the app?
Nothing. There is no import and no export. Sign in and everything you have already built is there, because it lives on your account and not on the device.
Does my customer need the app?
No. You send a link, they open it in whatever browser they already have, review the quote, tick any extras, sign and pay. No app and no login on their side.
I subscribed in the app. Does the web app unlock?
Yes, and the other way round too. The subscription follows the account, not the device. You manage the billing wherever you bought it: in your App Store or Google Play account if you subscribed in the app, in your Snapquo billing settings if you subscribed on the web.
